2011 - Hemphill Search Group announces addition of Outplacement Services
Omaha, Nebraska, November, 2011. Hemphill Search Group, Inc. and Hemphill Staffing Solutions, Inc., leaders in the recruitment, selection and placement of individuals and consultants in the areas of Accounting & Finance, Human Resources, Office Administration, and Customer Service, today announced the launch of Outplacement Services.
According to President Dan Hemphill, “There is a real need in the community for businesses to assist displaced employees with their job search needs in the event of an organizational downsizing. Most employers want to do the right thing by their employees, and this oftentimes includes finding a company to assist them with resume development, interviewing, leveraging social media, and creating a road-map to find a new position that is a good match for their skills and desires.”
Outplacement Services utilizes the full breadth of Hemphill’s offering, including assistance from its Sr. Career Coach and Resume Writer, Vicky Walz. “Helping people who recently learned their position was eliminated requires empathy, focus, and the skills to restore their confidence in themselves so that they can conduct an effective job search,” says Vicky.
Hemphill’s team of Recruiting and Staffing Managers also assists the displaced employees by introducing them to potential open positions within client companies, and subsequently setting up interviews with qualified candidates.
